About "I Like Bikinis"

I Like Bikinis was created in June 2006, an idea brought to reality by a goofy guy that enjoyed watching the many cool videos supplied by YouTube, Inc (YouTube). Founded in February 2005, YouTube is a consumer media company for people to watch and share original videos worldwide through a Web experience.

What I Like is everywhere! We see them on TV, hear about them on Radio and watch it in the movies. Obtaining them on the Internet, with I Like Bikinis is a natural fit.

I Like Bikinis will hopefully become a key portal for people to obtain a daily dosage of stimulating video content.

Who created "I Like Bikinis"

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for checking out the "Who" behind the "What".

My name is Patrick, and this website was created as a project to jump-start my adventures in being "Self-Centered", hence the website name I Like Bikinis.

The idea behind this website came from watching videos on the YouTube website. YouTube offers a developer api into their database of thousands of videos submitted by their members, and I saw an opportunity to do something.. "Neato!"

I Like Bikinis! I enjoy watching these videos.. It is so easy to become emersed in the crazy things that people purposely do, and the things that are captured on film un-scripted. This website tries to centralize just a fraction of the video content that exits on the internet. Some people might say that I am re-inventing the wheel. But, I'll just keep moving and doing me.

Hopefully this website becomes a place where many people can enjoy one of the simple pleasures in life, that video that leaves you holding your mouth going "Ooohhhhhhhh daaamn!".
